Repeat Prescriptions

Please note we no longer accept prescription requests over the phone.
There are 4 ways to order a repeat prescription.
- Online with Patient Access via the link at top of this page – obtain your access details from reception
- Requesting through the NHS app -https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/
- Contact your local pharmacy and ask to set up a repeat prescription service with them. You will need to inform them that you are registered at our practice and give them a list of your medication. We will send the prescriptions to them for you to collect.
- Order the prescription in person at the reception desk.
- Send us a written request with a stamped envelope enclosed, we will then send your prescription back to you in the pre-paid envelope.
We require 48 hours notice in order to process your repeat prescriptions.
Going on Holiday? Requesting Early or Larger Prescriptions
If you need an early or extended prescription due to travel plans, please submit your request at least 10 days in advance to allow us enough time to process it.
You can make your request easily via https://thebaileypractice.webgp.com/
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
